Job summary

Christian Dior Couture, part of the LVMH Group, seeks a Client Service Representative for its New York boutique. You will manage day-to-day client service, POS coordination, and cash handling while supporting boutique operations.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in luxury retail, flexible full-time hours including nights and weekends, and travel as needed. The compensation ranges $21-$25 per hour plus bonus eligibility, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding client service in a friendly, welcoming environment.
  • Ring on registers accurately and maintain cash/media.

  • Handle exchanges/returns with Boutique Leadership Team.
  • Communicate client requests/feedback to management.
  • Complete opening/closing procedures and secure cash/receipts.
  • Maintain orderly register area and stock supplies.
  • Assist in floor moves and merchandising, display upkeep.
  • Support on the selling floor as needed.
  • Participate in inventories.
  • Suggest improvements to service and cash-wrap efficiency.
  • Support general boutique operations including safety and security.

Job description

Working with the Boutique Management, the Client Service Representative is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Client Service functions of the Boutique. Responsibilities include coordinating the POS System, Aftersales, Phone Communication, Cash Integrity, Inventory Control, Loss Prevention, Client Service, and assisting in all areas of Boutique operations as needed

Job responsibilities
  • Ensure that each client receives outstanding service by providing a friendly and welcoming environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging clients, maintaining housekeeping standards, have product knowledge and all other aspects of client service.
  • Accurately and efficiently ring on registers and accurately maintain all cash and media at the registers.
  • Use proper telephone etiquette when answering the phone, taking messages, answering client inquiries, and when transferring calls
  • Assist in packing or wrapping clients’ merchandise.
  • In partnership with Boutique Leadership Team, handle all client exchanges or returns
  • Communicate client requests and feedback to management.
  • Complete all opening and closing procedures including securing all cash and receipts.
  • Maintain orderly appearance of register area and keep supplies stocked.
  • Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping
  • Provide support when needed to the selling floor
  • Participate in all inventories.
  • Help solve problems and make informed suggestions that affect the service, and efficiency of the cash wrap area
  • Support in general Boutique operational tasks, including safety and security, policy and procedures.
Profile
  • At least 3+ years of retail cashiering experience, with a luxury background preferred.
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule including varies hours / days including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above
  • Willingness to adhere to all company policies, procedures, regulations, and standards.
  • Availability to travel, as needed

The selected candidate will be offered a salary within the range of $21-$25 per hour, plus bonus eligibility. The salary offered will be dependent upon the candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
