Job summary

Central Veterinary Hospital in Fremont, CA is seeking a full-time Client Service Representative to join our veterinary practice. This role offers an hourly rate of $20–$25 depending on experience, with training and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of customer service experience is preferred, veterinary or medical setting is a plus.
• Comfort around cats and dogs is essential.

• Able to stay on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

We’re offering an hourly rate of $20 - 25/h based on experience, along with training/career growth potential and comprehensive benefits.

Schedule

Monday-Friday from 10:30am-7:00pm

Requirements

• Are comfortable around cats and dogs
• Are comfortable being on your feet for extended periods of time
• Strive to provide each client with compassion and care
• Are team-oriented with a strong work ethic
• Have at least a High school diploma or equivalent
• Have 1-2 years of experience in a customer service and/or client-focused setting. Veterinary or medical setting preferred

Responsibilities

• General front desk duties: greeting clients, booking appointments, etc
• Rooming patients and taking a brief history
• Client communication
• Managing phone lines
• Cleaning and disinfecting the hospital
• Carrying out tasks as requested by the veterinarian
• Medical records management
