Our Client Service Managers manage a portfolio of Fire Alarm & Fire Sprinkler service agreements (through delivery) and are responsible for profit and loss of these agreements. As a Client Service Manager, ensuring the financial performance of our service agreements and customer satisfaction are critical to our success. You’ll be working directly with the customer to develop trusted-advisor relationships and recommend services and solutions.

This position can be located in Lansing, MI, Grand Rapids, MI, or Detroit MI and will travel approximately 50% to customer sites throughout Michigan and work remotely 30%. Being in our Detroit, MI (Plymouth) or Grand Rapids, MI (Wyoming) office once per week is expected.

As a Client Service Manager, you will:

  • Manage assigned service agreement accounts, driving to a financial target and outstanding customer satisfaction and retention
  • Balance time between on-site customer interactions and back-office responsibilities
  • Develop account strategies to achieve the customer’s business goals, leveraging the company’s entire service and product portfolio
  • Develop service delivery plans with the customer to provide service agreement scope of work
  • Identify customer needs and make prioritized recommendations for service agreement adds, upgrades, and escalations
  • Participate in the development of a master schedule to deliver service for all customers in the service area and lead quality assurance activities that will support service agreement renewals

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED
  • 3+ years of experience working with customers in a similar technical environment managing agreements and/or projects; or experience within the fire alarm / fire sprinkler or related industry in a technical role
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and business software systems
  • Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' Fleet Vehicle program.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NICET Level I preferred
  • Associate degree from a two-year/technical college or bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated experience in the fire alarm or fire sprinkler industry

  • The pay range for this position is $60,340 - $103,440/ year and the annual incentive target is 5% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
