Siemens Energy’s Houston Service Center is seeking a results-oriented project manager to oversee turbomachinery repair programs, coordinating scope, schedule, and costs while creating inspection reports and repair proposals for steam turbines, compressors, and related equipment. You will work with mechanics, engineers, and project managers to ensure on-budget, compliant execution.

Manage the scope, schedule, and cost of repair projects inexecution at the Houston Service Center. Create inspection reports and repairproposals for steam turbines, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, safetyvalves, and other related turbomachinery equipment. Serve as clients’ directpoint of contact while repairs are ongoing at the service center. Workalongside a team of mechanics, machinists, weld technicians, inspectors,engineers, and project managers in the repair of critical turbomachinery equipment.Customers include oil refineries, petrochemical plants, power plants,universities, hospitals, and mechanical contractors.
Managethe scope, schedule, cost, and execution of turbomachinery repair projectsat the Houston Service Center, ensuring projects remain on budget andaligned with customer and business requirements.
Createinspection reports, repair proposals, and project documentation; reviewbills of materials, manufacturing drawings, and repair specifications toidentify replacement parts and define repair scopes.
Serveas the primary point of contact for customers, interpreting maintenanceand repair requirements, reviewing contractual service specifications, andproviding regular project status updates to both internal and externalstakeholders.
Developclear work instructions for shop personnel, leveraging factory and repairspecifications, while supporting inspection, repair, and maintenanceactivities throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensurecompliance with customer requirements and internal quality standards,while supporting continuous improvement initiatives, including Leanimplementation projects and process enhancements.
Championa strong safety culture by actively supporting safety programs andinitiatives, promoting safe work practices, reporting unsafe conditions,and encouraging continuous improvement across the Service Center.
Bachelor'sdegree in Business, Engineering, or a related field required.
3+years of experience with rotating and/or reciprocating equipment repairs(including steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, gas turbines,reciprocating compressors, turbochargers, valves, and dry gas seals),manufacturing environments, or estimating labor and resources for repairscopes. Additional experience may qualify candidates for a higher-levelposition (07 S40).
Demonstratedproject management experience, including managing project lifecycle,costs, schedules, and priorities in a fast-paced environment, with theflexibility to support occasional overtime during client outages.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Project, and Outlook, coupled with the ability to interpret shopinstructions and manufacturing drawings.
Provencommitment to Health, Safety, and Quality standards, along with a strongwork ethic, focus on excellence, high-quality results, and the ability towork effectively as part of a collaborative team.
Teachableand adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn, accept constructivefeedback, and continuously improve.
