BluePearl Pet Hospital in Skokie, IL is looking for an experienced Part-Time Client Service Coordinator to join our team!

At BluePearl Pet Hospital, our Veterinary Receptionists are vital to our hospital's success. In this role, you are the first BluePearl Associate that clients see. You will ensure each client receives the care and attention they need, functioning calmly and compassionately in emotionally challenging situations.

Pay Range CSCI-II: $19.80 - $28.27/hour

*This pay band depends on local veterinary licensing, experience, and advancement through our competency assessment tool.

Schedule: Full-Time

As a Veterinary Receptionist, your responsibilities include:

1. Greeting clients warmly and professionally every time they enter the hospital.
2. Offering a friendly smile, strong eye contact, and an approachable demeanor.
3. Listening compassionately to clients.
4. Speaking clearly, slowly, and calmly in person and on the phone.
5. Assessing each client's needs and the pet's condition upon arrival.
6. Determining the urgency of emergency arrivals.
7. Responding to non-patient calls and visitors appropriately.
8. Confirming appointments and providing clients with preparation instructions.
9. Offering emotional support and resources to grieving clients.
10. Handling pet remains with care and compassion, acting as a liaison with service agencies.
