Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Admin, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–4 years in financial services, wealth management, private banking, or brokerage ops.
  • Strong communication and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial data.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary administrative contact for clients and inquiries about accounts and transactions.
  • Onboard high-net-worth clients, gather documentation, and coordinate funding.
  • Prepare materials for client reviews, portfolio evaluations, and planning sessions.
  • Maintain client records in the CRM system with accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with Custodian Ops, Compliance, Planning, and Trading to streamline processes.
  • Ensure client authorization procedures and regulatory disclosures are followed.

Lead Advisor is a wealth management recruiting and consulting firm. This role is for one of our clients a fast growing RIA in Bingham Farms, Michigan.

The Client Service Associate (CSA) plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional client experience and maintaining operational excellence. The CSA serves as a primary point of contact for high-net-worth (HNW) clients, managing daily administrative functions, account operations, and high-touch service requests. The ideal candidate exhibits strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of financial operations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities
Client Relationship & Service Management
  • Act as the primary administrative contact for clients, providing prompt, professional, and courteous resolution to inquiries regarding accounts, statements, and transactions.
  • Facilitate seamless onboarding for new high-net-worth clients, including complex account opening, documentation gathering, and account funding.
  • Coordinate and prepare materials for regular client review meetings, portfolio evaluations, and financial planning sessions.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate client records within the Firm’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Operational & Transactional Execution
  • Process complex operational transactions, including wire transfers, ACH payments, account transfers (ACATS), check requests, and security disbursements, ensuring strict adherence to internal controls.
  • Monitor daily account activity, cash balances, trade settlements, and corporate actions to ensure accurate execution.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve account discrepancies or operational exceptions in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Custodian Operations, Compliance, Financial Planning, and Trading) to streamline workflow processes.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Execute necessary client authorization procedures for sensitive transactions and account modifications.
  • Maintain systematic oversight of required client documentation and regulatory disclosures.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in financial services, ideally within wealth management, private banking, or brokerage operations.
Required Skills
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of wealth management CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a refined executive presence suitable for engaging with affluent clientele.
  • Operational Acumen: Strong organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize task execution under tight deadlines.
  • Integrity: Highest degree of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
