Job summary

Purple Squirrel Advisors in New York, NY is seeking a hands-on Client Relationship Manager to support client management, project planning, and field execution. Job description

Our client is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Client Relationship Manager to support client management, project planning, and field execution. S/he will report directly to the CEO / Owner. In this role, s/he will be responsible for developing new customer relationships while maintaining existing accounts through visiting project sites, collecting accurate dimensions and data, and communicating project timelines. This role will be the link between field conditions and project execution, working closely with architects, builders, contractors, and internal teams. S/he will be responsible for spearheading the Company’s continued efforts to expand into New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Research, identify, and present qualified proposals that the company can bid on.
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of new and existing projects.
  • Visit construction sites to assist with field measurements of areas where product will be installed.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers, managing communication from initial inquiry through project completion.
  • Review blueprints and interpret architectural and structural drawings, identify inconsistencies, and reconcile discrepancies through site verification.
  • Collaborate with project managers, installers, and fabrication teams to ensure drawings are practical and accurate.
  • Organize and archive drawings and field notes for project documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality expectations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma is required.
  • Associate degree or technical diploma in Construction Management, Drafting, Architecture, Construction Technology, or related field is a plus.
  • Knowledge of CAD or other drafting tools is a plus (not required).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other structural drawings is required.
  • Excellent spatial awareness, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills for working with clients, contractors, and team members are required.
  • Must be able to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Availability to work flexible hours depending on need.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
