Job description

About Us

Geller Private Wealth &Partners is a boutique, family-style wealth management firm in Melville, NY, managing close to $700 million in client assets as one of the largest wealth management practices in the country. Our team has been recognized as a Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisor. Our partners bring 30+ years of experience — much of it at large wirehouses like Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, and Ameriprise — before building a firm designed to be the opposite of that experience: hands-on, responsive, and personal, for both our clients and our team. No layers, no phone queues, no red tape. If a client needs something, they get a person — not a ticket number.

We're growing, and we're looking for someone to become the face and backbone of our client experience.

The Role

This is a client-facing, high-trust support role — not a back-office position. You'll be the person our clients call, the person our advisors count on to keep every detail moving, and (in a smaller slice of your time) a creative hand in how we market the firm. Reporting directly to our Director of Operations, you'll work closely with our partners and support staff day to day, with real opportunity to grow into a larger operations or client management role as you prove yourself.

What the day-to-day actually looks like:

roughly 90% client service and operational support, 10% marketing and event coordination. If you’re looking for a marketing‑first role, this isn’t it — but if you want a seat where you own the client relationship and get creative input on how we tell our story, this is a great fit.

Client Experience & Operational Support
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients via phone, email, and in person — warm, patient, and unflappable, even on high call-volume days
  • Own the follow-up: chase down what internal teams and outside custodians haven’t completed yet, keep client requests from falling through the cracks
  • Maintain accurate client records and notes in our CRM
  • Support the Director of Operations and advisors with scheduling, reporting, spreadsheets, and day-to-day client communications
  • Be the calm, capable presence clients see when they walk into our office
Marketing & Event Support
  • Help manage our social media presence (LinkedIn, Facebook) — posting content, sharing firm updates and thought leadership
  • Assist in planning and executing client seminars and appreciation events (a few times a year, not year‑round)
  • Support newsletters and other client‑facing marketing materials
  • Bring ideas — if you have a strong marketing instinct, there’s real upside here, including recognition and incentive for efforts that help bring in new business
Who You Are
  • You come from a client-facing environment where precision and follow‑through matter — financial services, banking, a CPA or legal office, or similar — and you’re drawn to the idea of a smaller, more personal team where your work is visible and valued
  • If you’re coming from a larger financial institution (wirehouse, bank, broker‑dealer), even better — you’ll recognize exactly what we mean by wanting the opposite of bureaucracy and phone queues
  • You have a track record of staying put — this is a long‑term seat, not a stepping stone. Frequent job changes won’t be a fit for this search
  • You’re detail‑obsessed and proactive; you don’t need to be told twice to follow up on something
  • You have a genuine interest in markets, finance, and the client relationship — not just clocking in
  • You’re warm and personable in a way that puts clients at ease, with the maturity to handle sensitive conversations and busy days without rattling
  • You’re comfortable being in the office five days a week — this role requires an in‑person presence, and it’s a firm requirement, not a preference
Nice to Have
  • Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65)
  • Notary Public license
  • Prior experience at a wirehouse or larger financial institution
  • Base salary: $75,000+, commensurate with experience and licensing
  • Performance‑based bonus potential, including recognition tied to marketing or referral efforts that bring in new business
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Health savings account (HSA) and flexible spending account (FSA)
  • Paid time off
  • Growth path toward greater management and client responsibility over time
The Office

Our Melville office is brand new — on‑site gym access, a cafeteria, a kitchenette, and a conference room built for client meetings. This is not a cubicle‑farm environment; it’s a small, close‑knit team that treats each other like family.
