Job summary

Truist in Wilmington, NC seeks a Regular 1st shift client service professional to strengthen relationships through consultative conversations and referrals for additional business growth.

You will handle teller duties as needed, advise on consumer lending options, and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies while delivering a consistent, friendly experience to every client.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients and building relationships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE (Mortgage Licensing Act) compliant within 30 days of employment, including background checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests and sales functions.
• Contributes to meeting client service and sales targets by developing, expanding and retaining relationships.
• Supports team sales by conducting consultative conversations and referring complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participates in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advances knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge through training and meetings.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Follows internal controls and risk management policies and stays informed of changes.
• Ensures a consistent client service experience with courteous, proactive engagement during transactions.
• May include greeting clients and assisting them in navigating the branch.
