Job summary

Columbia Bank in Burien, WA is seeking a Relationship Banker to build long-term client relationships by providing customized financial solutions and education on digital and traditional banking channels.

You will open deposit accounts, originate consumer loans, maintain a loan and deposit portfolio, and proactively contact customers to grow business while engaging with community events.

Qualifications

• 2 years of banking and/or demonstrated sales experience.
• 2 years developing client relationships and meeting sales goals.
• 2 years in a lending function with loan origination/processing.
• Knowledge of consumer and business products; proficiency in lending.
• Ability to analyze cash flow and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Open new deposit accounts and originate consumer loans.
• Originate consumer loans and some small business loans.
• Educate customers about digital and partner services.
• Perform proactive outbound calls to current and prospective clients.
• Develop a pipeline of prospects and community outreach.
