Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking Relationship Bankers to meet with clients face to face, assess banking needs, and open accounts while guiding customers to suitable products and services. The role includes originating consumer loans and providing strong client service.

It requires building relationships, knowledge of retail offerings, and collaboration with branch colleagues to deliver an exceptional client experience, with NMLS registration and background checks as part of the process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically has a minimum four to five years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.

Responsibilities

• Builds and fosters relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Identifies solutions for new and existing clients based on their needs by effectively engaging and communicating with clients.
• Maintains a working knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services including digital products and services.
• Opens new consumer and business accounts, completes service requests and submits credit applications.
