Job summary

Ameris Bank is seeking a Customer Service & Sales Associate to build strong relationships with customers and expand the bank’s retail product footprint. You will identify client needs, educate on solutions, and drive account openings through proactive service and sales activities.

In this role, you’ll handle teller tasks when needed, collaborate with teammates, and contribute to a positive customer experience while adhering to ethical selling practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• 1+ years of retail banking experience preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Cross selling experience preferred.
• Consumer credit experience preferred.
• Platform banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a consultant to customers by conducting financial profiles and identifying needs.
• Cross-sell and up-sell banking products to attract and retain clients.
• Open new accounts and service existing accounts.
• Provide teller support and back up branches as needed.
• Support and train colleagues; mentor teammates.
• Adopt ethical sales practices aligned with company values.
