Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, with preferred bachelor’s degree.
• One year of business or retail experience required.
• Training completion is required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of all bank products, services, policies and regulatory issues.
• Provide helpful, professional, and friendly customer service.
• Serve as the single point of contact for customers on all products and services.
• Match customer needs with bank products through interviews and referrals.
• Meet performance goals and participate in sales campaigns.
• Retain existing customers and develop new relationships.
• Implement sales strategies and new product offerings.
• Process transactions accurately and quickly per policies.
• Issue cashier checks, process coin, and order customer checks with fees as needed.
• Verify transactions, place holds, and reconcile cash drawer.
• Assist with night deposits and redeem savings bonds.
• Handle safe deposit box operations and related updates.
• Address customer complaints and escalate to management as needed.
• Research, correct and re-issue debit cards for unauthorized transactions.
• Complete holds and stop payments for checking/savings accounts.
• Assist customers with ITM issues.
• Follow procedures for all customer-service activities.
• Perform security duties including vault operations; act as Vault Custodian as needed.
• Participate in meetings, bank functions, and community events.
• Collaborate on team projects and sales programs.
• Adhere to standards, policies and procedures.
• Deliver strong community visibility.
• Assist lending personnel with related duties.
• Be familiar with security procedures and equipment.
• Pursue personal development to improve knowledge and compliance.
• Maintain customer confidentiality per bank policies.
• Perform other duties as required; refresh knowledge of products and services.
