Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level experience in teller, banking, or sales roles with established goals.
• Ability to build relationships through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident discussing banking products and services; able to recognize opportunities to recommend solutions.
• Multitasking and adaptability to evolving client and branch needs.
• Basic understanding of retail banking products, policies, and systems.
• Ability to review financial information to identify client needs and suggest options.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Outlook and Word and other business tools.
• Demonstrate professionalism in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients with exceptional service while supporting a wide range of sales and service activities.
• Process routine financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
• Balance cash drawer with precise currency and coin handling.
• Consult with clients to understand needs and introduce products, services, and digital banking tools.
• Identify opportunities to expand relationships and refer to partners across Commercial Lending, Treasury Management, Mortgage Lending, and Investment Services.
• Proactively communicate with clients to educate, resolve concerns, strengthen loyalty, and gather feedback.
• Hold appointments to identify client needs, provide solutions, and support financial success.
• Open new accounts, maintain existing accounts, and resolve issues while ensuring compliance.
• Support branch lending processes by answering questions, completing applications, and preparing documentation.
