Job summary

Banner Bank is seeking a Client Relationship Consultant in Yakima, WA to be the welcoming face of the branch and a trusted partner for clients. You will help clients navigate their financial lives, open and maintain accounts, and support various banking services.

You will engage in consultative conversations, promote products, and collaborate with teams to strengthen client relationships and drive referrals. Requires interpersonal skills and a background in client-facing banking/retail roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Entry-level experience in teller, banking, or sales with established goals is required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients with exceptional service while supporting sales and service activities.
• Process routine financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency (deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments).
• Balance cash drawer with precise currency and coin handling.
• Consult with clients to understand needs and introduce products and digital banking tools.
• Identify opportunities to expand relationships and refer to partners across lending and investment services.
• Proactively communicate with clients to educate, resolve concerns, and gather feedback.
