Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the top law firms in the U.S.! Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is looking for a Client Program Coordinator to join our team in our Seattle, Portland, Anchorage, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Richmond, Washington D.C., or New York offices.

This position offers the flexibility to be fully remote while working within reasonable commuting distance from any of our offices.

This position is responsible for providing high-level support for client program teams, including overseeing matter management, contributing to process flow organization, and serving as a liaison between the client, the firm's timekeepers, and interoffice departments. Responsibilities include running conflict checks, maintaining knowledge management resources, and developing creative solutions to business opportunities. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, exercises sound judgment, and possesses strong administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills while managing multiple assignments. This role may also involve billing the client for certain activities as directed by your manager.

On a typical day you will:
Service Delivery:

The Client Experience Team enhances traditional legal services through proactive communication, actionable reporting, and strategic client satisfaction initiatives. The Coordinator is expected to:

  • Work with lawyers and staff to meet service expectations and address specific problems or opportunities, enabling excellent, differentiated service.
  • Collaborate with legal teams and departments to drive service innovation, improve efficiency, and develop new business processes using technology, process improvement, legal project management, and alternative staffing.
  • Learn new technology tools (such as legal project management, data visualization, and document automation) to create efficiencies and add value.
  • Support onboarding and integration of new personnel, including attorneys, paralegals, and staff.

Some service delivery and project management activities will be billable to the client as directed by your manager.

Project Management:

The team manages numerous requests affecting legal teams, client operations, and success metrics. The Coordinator is expected to:

  • Act as a point of contact for the program team and responsible attorneys to intake requests, run conflict checks, and route work.
  • Edit and maintain client-facing matter management sites.
  • Track and report on project plans and deliverables for client leadership.
  • Assist in implementing project management frameworks to track progress and scope adherence.

  • Problem-solving skills focused on solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and OneNote.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, HighQ, Azure DevOps, and SharePoint is preferred.
  • Availability to work overtime as needed.

Salary Information:

Washington: $62,000–$68,000; California (Los Angeles): $62,000–$71,000; California (San Francisco): $73,000–$78,000; New York: $73,000–$80,000; D.C.: $66,000–$73,000. Salaries are adjusted based on experience and other factors. Benefits include bonuses, insurance, flexible spending accounts, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
