Job summary

Netflix seeks a Client Partner to drive advertising solutions for Fortune 500 brands in the US market. You will manage NY and Boston accounts, craft proposals, negotiate pricing, and align Netflix's ad products with client goals.

Travel to client sites and industry events is required as part of developing long-term partnerships and expanding revenue across the Netflix portfolio. You will work with Ad Sales Product, Marketing, Research and Revenue Yield teams to meet client needs and deliver

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in the Advertising industry with 2+ years direct media sales experience.
  • Proven ability to translate data into actionable sales tactics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Establish relationships with decision makers at client and agency levels.
  • Build on Netflix product strengths to close new business and upsell.
  • Prepare proposals and respond to RFPs with professionalism and timeliness.
  • Negotiate pricing, placements, content, and event concepts.

With your deep understanding of the digital video and programmatic landscape, you will act as a strategic partner to your assigned clients and sell Netflix's full range of advertising solutions to help achieve their marketing goals.As a Client Partner at Netflix, you will focus on client direct sales needs and work in lockstep with your cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate is creative and entrepreneurial, deeply passionate about long-term account development, and proficient in high-level strategic thinking. This role will handle NY- and Boston-based accounts, and requires travel and representation at industry events.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and foster working relationships with key decision makers on both client and agency levels with a focus on Holding Companies and Fortune 500 brandsBuild on the strengths of the Netflix portfolio of product offerings to close new business while renewing and up-selling existing clients to maximize revenuePrepare proposals and respond to RFP’s with a high degree of professionalism, and quality and in a timely mannerWork with Netflix Ad Sales Product, Marketing, Research, and Revenue Yield Management to ensure that client’s needs are being metNegotiate pricing, advertising placement, content, and event conceptsDevelop sales strategies and sales plans for assigned accountsCreate and deliver powerful and persuasive presentations to clientsProspect, identify, and qualify new clientsStay current on video advertising trends and innovationsThe position requires travel based on agency and client locationQualificationsAt least 6 years of professional experience in the Advertising industry, with at least 2+ years of direct media sales experience managing complex agency and client relationshipsProven strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and translate it into specific and measurable tactics, actions, and outcomesHighly skilled in negotiating and selling the intrinsic value of a premium offering to customersProblem solver with the ability to collaborate and work across functionsProspecting and cold-calling skills are necessaryUnderstanding of how our clients set priorities and performance goals, and how we can align our product portfolio to best fulfill those needsExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to multi-task, make decisions, and manage at entrepreneurial speedStrong, confident presentation skillsThe overall market range for roles in this area of Netflix is typically $230,000.00 - $325,000.00. A portion of this compensation is variable.Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
