Job summary

Slalom is seeking a Director and Client Partner in the NorCal market to lead a flagship global technology client. You will deepen partnerships, oversee a diverse portfolio, and guide solution delivery across data, AI, and technology strategy.

Bring 10+ years in consulting or enterprise tech, with a proven ability to drive growth, influence executives, and shape go-to-market strategies in a hybrid Bay Area role.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in consulting, enterprise technology, or digital transformation environments.
  • Executive-level presence and ability to influence across technical and business domains.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding a $5M+ revenue target and leading complex accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior accountable executive for a flagship global technology client, building trust and long-term partnership across multiple business groups.
  • Own and grow a multimillion-dollar book of business, with an annual revenue target of $5M+, through consultative selling, pursuit leadership, and client expansion strategies.
  • Shape and execute go-to-market strategies, collaborating with delivery, strategy, experience, data and technology teams to solve complex client challenges.
  • Serve as a trusted technology advisor to executive client stakeholders, bringing perspectives on Data Strategy, Digital Engineering and AI-enabled Transformation.
  • Act as a CTO-level technology leader for the account, helping shape solutions that incorporate Technology, Data, Cloud, Engineering, and AI capabilities to solve critical business challenges.
  • Partner with capability leaders to develop integrated solutions and account growth strategies.
  • Lead high-impact proposals and pricing efforts, ensuring alignment with client priorities and delivery excellence.
  • Guide cross-functional delivery teams to achieve measurable results across business transformation, product development, platform implementation, and operating model design.
  • Maintain a 45% personal utilization target while setting the tone for excellence, ownership, and value realization.
  • Coach and mentor team members across the client account, supporting growth, feedback culture, and inclusive leadership.

As a Director and Client Partner in our NorCal market, you'll be a leader in one of Slalom's most strategic accounts in the global technology sector. You'll be responsible for deepening and expanding this high-value partnership, overseeing a diverse portfolio of consulting work, and helping drive critical innovation and growth across the account. You'll collaborate closely with senior client stakeholders and internal leaders to guide solution delivery, identify opportunities, and bring the best of Slalom forward. In addition to serving as a senior relationship executive, you'll act as a trusted advisor on Technology, Data, and AI strategy, helping clients navigate complex transformation initiatives while connecting business priorities to innovative technology solutions.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring
  • A passion for growing major client relationships- this role is for a professional services leader who sees opportunity where others see complexity
  • A proven ability to meet and exceed a $5-million revenue target, with a track record of strategic selling, enterprise account growth, and trusted advisory delivery
  • Experience leading or supporting complex, global clients in the technology industry, particularly within hyperscale or platform-driven organizations
  • Demonstrated depth in one or more technology disciplines, including,Data & AI, Digital Engineering, or Technology Strategy
  • Experience shaping, selling, and delivering consulting solutions that integrate business strategy, technology, data, and AI capabilities
  • Ability to engage credibly with both business and technology executives, serving as a trusted advisor on technology investments, AI adoption, and digital transformation priorities
  • Executive-level presence and the ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate clearly across technical and business domains
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including leadership roles in consulting, enterprise technology, or digital transformation environments
  • Operational acumen to manage delivery excellence, financial performance, and account operations while maintaining a 45% utilization target
  • Experience leading and mentoring high-performing teams across functions, capabilities, and locations
  • Local presence in the Bay Area with flexibility to travel to client sites and Slalom offices on a hybrid schedule

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range for Director in San Franciso, Silicon Valley is $190,000 to $292,500. The targeted base salary pay range for Director in Sacramento is $164,000 to $246,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
