Job summary

Straive is seeking an experienced Client Partner/Account Manager with deep expertise in EdTech and Digital Learning. You will manage key US client relationships, lead globally distributed teams, and deliver value through AI-native solutions, digital content services, and modern learning platforms.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in account management or business development within EdTech or higher education.
  • Proven success leading large, globally distributed teams.
  • Direct P&L ownership of $5–6M with revenue growth and profitability.
  • Strong understanding of EdTech challenges, AI-driven personalization.
  • Fluent in US enterprise/institutional market with executive presence.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for US-based clients, ensuring engagement and satisfaction.
  • Build long-term partnerships by understanding curriculum needs and platform goals.
  • Drive account growth through cross-sell and up-sell across Straive’s content, data, and engineering portfolios.
  • Own annual P&L responsibility, ensuring profitability and revenue growth.
  • Manage budgets, forecast revenue, and optimize delivery with onshore/offshore teams.
  • Prevent account churn and improve delivery cost structures.
  • Develop and execute account plans aligned with client objectives and Straive’s growth goals.
  • Ensure delivery excellence in digital publishing, platform modernization, and data engineering.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for US-based clients, ensuring consistent engagement and satisfaction.
  • Build long-term partnerships by understanding curriculum needs, platform challenges, and strategic learning goals.
  • Drive account growth through cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across Straive’s content, data, and engineering portfolios.
  • Own annual P&L responsibility , ensuring profitability and revenue growth.
  • Manage budgets, forecast revenue, and optimize operational efficiencies across onshore/offshore teams.
  • Prevent account churn and improve delivery cost structures.
  • Develop and execute account plans aligned with client learning objectives and Straive’s growth goals.
  • Ensure delivery excellence in digital publishing, platform modernization, and data engineering projects.
  • Stay ahead of EdTech trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies (LLMs, personalized learning pathways).
Domain & Technical Expertise
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of higher education, K-12 publishing, assessments, and digital content standards (LTI, QTI, SCORM).
  • Act as a trusted advisor, offering insights on modern learning experience design (LXD) and EdTech frameworks.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to design innovative learning solutions leveraging analytics, Generative AI, and SaaS platforms.
  • Drive adoption of learning analytics, dashboards, and predictive models for student retention.
  • Propose scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-native architectures aligned with client objectives.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Education Technology, Computer Science, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: 10+ years in account management, client partnerships, or business development within EdTech/Higher Education/Digital Publishing.
  • Leadership: Proven success leading large, globally distributed teams and managing complex delivery architectures.
  • Commercial Scale: Direct P&L ownership of $5–6M with consistent revenue growth and profitability.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of EdTech challenges, AI-native personalization, and compliance standards (FERPA, COPPA, WCAG).
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with analytics, cloud ecosystems, and AI-driven solutioning.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presence with fluency in the US enterprise/institutional market.
