Job summary

PIMCO, based in Newport Beach, seeks a Client Operations Specialist to oversee the portfolio event process, including onboarding new accounts, terminations, in-kind transfers, and portfolio modifications. You will work closely with Client Management and cross-functional teams to uncover client needs and translate them into actionable plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience within Client Operations in the financial services industry, preferably fixed income.
• Knowledge of the portfolio event process and derivatives is preferred.
• Experience automating business processes using workflow automation or BI tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the portfolio event process: onboarding new accounts, terminations, in-kind transfers, and portfolio modifications.
• Identify opportunities to enhance operational processes and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement client solutions and improve processes.
• Document project phases and prepare summary reports for management review.
• Coordinate activities across Client Management, Client Servicing, Portfolio Management, Product Management, Legal, Compliance, Funds Administration, Analytics, Performance, and Operations; liaise with banks and transition managers.
• Foster a collaborative environment and contribute to all stages of the client portfolio lifecycle.
