Values First Advisors is seeking a Client Operations Associate to keep daily operations running smoothly and to deliver an exceptional client experience. You will handle account paperwork, maintain client records, manage workflows between advisors, custodians, and vendors, and support CRM and financial planning tools.
If you are organized, tech‑savvy, and eager to help a growing team, this role offers a collaborative culture, full‑time hours, and a competitive compensation package.
Compensation: $42,000/year + 401(k) match, paid vacation, and health insurance
Schedule: Full-time
Values First Advisors exists to love God and people through biblically-based investment
management and financial planning. We help people steward their money in a way that
reflects biblical values.
We are a growing financial planning and investment management firm that believes
financial advice should be about more than numbers. We care deeply about our clients,
our team, our families, and our community.
We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a great team—not someone who is
simply looking for a job.
The Client Operations Associate will play a critical role in keeping the day-to-day
operations of Values First Advisors running smoothly while helping create an exceptional
experience for our clients.
This person will work behind the scenes on many of the systems, technology, paperwork,
workflows, and other details that allow our advisors to focus on what they do best: serving
clients and providing excellent financial advice.
At the same time, this is a people-oriented position. You will interact with clients,
prospects, custodians, and members of our team regularly.
The ideal candidate is someone who can spend part of the day helping a client on the
phone and the next few hours working comfortably inside a CRM, spreadsheet, financial
planning software, or custodial platform.
You should genuinely enjoy both.
Must-Haves:
You enjoy talking with people and genuinely care about helping them.
You are technologically comfortable.
You don’t need to be a programmer, but you should be the person who isn’t intimidated when someone says, “We’re going to start using a new system.”
You are highly organized.
You notice details. You keep lists. You follow up. You don’t let things fall through the cracks.
You are a self‑starter.
You don’t need someone standing over you telling you what to do every 15 minutes.
You are a team player.
You understand that great teams aren’t built around job descriptions. Sometimes you help with something because it needs to get done.
You have a servant’s heart.
You care more about doing a great job and helping people than getting credit for it.
You are willing to go the extra mile.
We want someone who occasionally thinks, “I could do more here,” and then actually does it.
The right person will probably describe themselves as:
The wrong person for this role may be highly qualified on paper but prefer to work completely independently, dislike interacting with people, resist new technology, or say, “That’s not my job.”
We’d rather hire character and teach skills than hire skills and try to teach character.
We believe work should be meaningful, people should be valued, and excellence matters.
We want to build a team where people work hard, laugh together, help one another, take ownership, and genuinely care about the people we serve.
If you are looking for a place where you can grow, contribute, serve people, and be part of something bigger than yourself, we’d love to hear from you.
