Job summary

Pathstone seeks an analytical, client-focused operations specialist to support the Client Advisory Team in daily client service and operations. The role involves preparing performance analyses, manager background materials, and client presentations, while coordinating with Capital Markets and other professionals.

Strong Excel and Office skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; prior experience in the financial management industry is a plus but not required for recent graduates.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving and client service skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize time-sensitive issues.
• Solid PC and Microsoft Office suite skills, particularly Excel.
• Comfortable speaking with clients and others about money movement, account openings, trades, and daily operations.
• Positive attitude and initiative; ability to prioritize tasks amid competing demands.
• Understanding investments including mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and alternatives is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to a Client Advisory Team in communication and implementation of client investment strategies; draft letters of instruction and complete account documents.
• Prepare performance analysis, investment manager background, and client presentation material.
• Coordinate with the Capital Markets Group and act as information provider to accountants, banks, investment managers and other professionals.
• Assist with quarterly reporting and reconcile client reports as part of client operations.
