Job summary

Labcorp is hiring a Phlebotomist in Kennesaw, GA. Work schedule is Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with rotating Saturdays. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry and patient service.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training, and at least 1 year of phlebotomy experience. Labcorp offers growth opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
