Job summary

IMA Financial Group, Inc. is seeking a Client Manager to oversee a middle market book, nurture client relationships, and drive renewals and successful implementations. The role requires clear communication, independent thinking, and accountability to deliver high-quality service.

You will be the primary contact for daily client needs, coordinate vendor management, and may coach junior team members, contributing to a collaborative, high-performance environment at IMA.

Qualifications

  • Active Life & Health License required.
  • 3+ years relevant experience in client management or related fields.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and funding models to client context.

Responsibilities

  • Owns client relationships and manages the lifecycle from renewals to implementations.
  • Leads benefit implementations, vendor management, renewals, and enrollment strategy.
  • Acts as primary point of contact for daily client service and may coach junior staff.

Job description

Role Description

Manages a middle market book of business and provides consultative support throughout the client lifecycle. This role owns client relationships, leads renewals and implementations, and resolves complex service issues.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES include but are not limited to:
  • Manages dedicated Book of Business: medium-to-large volume book or a smaller set of higher revenue or more complex clients (e.g., self-funded, custom plans), requiring higher service intensity and tailored engagement models. May support light prospecting.
  • Has ownership and accountability for client relationships, service plans, timelines, and execution quality.
  • Leads benefit implementations, vendor management, renewals, and open enrollment strategy and delivery.
  • Primary point of contact for daily client service.
  • May provide coaching or training for junior Client Managers.

Salary Range: $75,000—$90,000 USD
