Base pay range

$50,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

The Client Manager position is designed to drive new business growth while ensuring strong, ongoing relationships with existing clients. Beyond generating new leads, the Client Manager will take the lead in maintaining proactive communication with current clients to ensure satisfaction and retention. This includes addressing client inquiries, providing updates on policies, and making recommendations for additional services or coverage options. Daily, the Client Manager will work closely with the house team to identify new opportunities, follow up on leads, and manage the end-to-end process of submitting information to carriers, presenting quotes, and securing requests for enrollments, policy changes, or terminations for lines of benefits insurance.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate with prospective TIS clients seeking employee benefit insurance quotes and coverage.
  • Handle customer service activities including phone calls, new sales processing, policy renewals, client inquiries, and maintaining group business accounts.
  • Manage the renewal process including setting enrollment dates, notifying employers of premium changes, verifying carrier updates, and preparing updated enrollment materials.
  • Initiate and finalize renewals by coordinating with carriers, enrolling employees, and submitting applications within set timelines.
  • Gather underwriting information, create competitive quotes, present options to clients, and manage the enrollment process for new accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing dedicated, personalized service.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the insurance (employee/individual benefits) industry, or a related field.
  • Valid insurance license (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
  • Ability to analyze client needs and offer tailored insurance solutions.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Licensing:

  • Accident and Health or Sickness Insurance License
  • Life Insurance License
