Job summary

Trial Balance invites an experienced Client Manager to join its well-established practice in Falmouth. You will manage a diverse client portfolio, acting as the main contact for clients and providing proactive accounting and taxation advice.

A strong emphasis on client relationships and delivering high standards of service is key. The ideal candidate is ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience, with a solid background in an accountancy practice.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification or equivalent experience in accountancy practice.
• Strong background in an accountancy practice with technical competence.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
• Act as main point of contact, providing proactive accounting and taxation advice.
• Review statutory accounts, corporation tax and personal tax returns.
• Review VAT returns and management accounts where required.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
• Work closely with Partners to maintain high client service standards.
• Identify opportunities to add value and strengthen client relationships.

As Client Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• - Managing a varied portfolio of limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
• - Acting as the main point of contact for your clients, providing proactive accounting and taxation advice
• - Reviewing statutory accounts, corporation tax and personal tax returns
• - Reviewing VAT returns and management accounts where required
• - Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
• - Working closely with Partners to ensure a consistently high standard of client service
• -Identifying opportunities to add value and strengthen existing client relationships

The successful Client Manager candidate will:

Be an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant, or qualified by experience, with a strong background gained within an accountancy practice.

You'll be technically competent, enjoy building lasting client relationships and be confident managing your own workload. Strong communication skills, commercial awareness and a proactive approach will all be important in this role.
