Job summary

Paychex is expanding how organizations manage their people by delivering payroll, HR, benefits, and advisory services in an integrated HCM platform.

This role focuses on ensuring client satisfaction, maintaining relationships, and serving as the primary HR service contact for a small or less complex client base. You will collaborate with internal partners to deliver strong service and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• 1–3 years HR experience in a customer-focused role required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve clients remotely and in-person, providing consultative guidance to resolve issues.
• Partner with internal experts to deliver actionable responses or corrective plans.
• Offer guidance in performance management, recruiting, compensation, and engagement.
• Assist with EPLI insurance setup and benefits enrollment meetings as needed.
• Explain HR policies and provide remedies for employee-relations issues.
• Perform turnover analysis and unemployment escalation support.
• Stay current on HR trends and contribute training resources.
• Promote high-quality customer service to clients.

Overview

Ensures overall client satisfaction with products and services. Works with a small client demographic or less complex client base to assist with HR needs. Maintains ongoing relationships with client contacts and is the primary point of contact for HR service. Collaborates with internal partners to ensure quality customer service and support.

Responsibilities

• Services clients remotely and in-person and provides consultative guidance to ensure appropriate resolution of client issues. Partner with internal departments/subject matter experts to deliver actionable responses or plans to client concerns.
• Provides consultative guidance and advice to clients in Performance Management, Recruiting and Retention Strategies, Compensation, Performance Development, Employee Engagement, and Culture Enhancement.
• May support clients with the set-up of EPLI insurance with the assistance of other internal business partners.
• May conduct open enrollment meetings for clients, advising on benefit plan selection and contribution strategies.
• Communicates and interprets HR policies and procedures while providing remedies for employee relations issues. Seeks appropriate guidance and support from HR Coach as applicable.
• Provides turnover analysis action planning and offers unemployment escalation assistance.
• Maintains an awareness of HR trends and conducts training based on available resources.
• Promotes high-quality customer service to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in HR, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Consideration may be given to a candidate with experience in lieu of a degree.

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting hourly pay range for this position is $22.61 – $35.53 hourly. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
