Job summary

Paychex in Cincinnati seeks an HR Services professional to ensure client satisfaction across HR products. You’ll manage relationships with a small, complex client base and serve as the primary HR service contact, coordinating with internal partners to deliver solutions.

The role focuses on guidance in performance management, recruiting, engagement, culture, and benefits, with potential EPLI support and enrollment activities. A degree is preferred, with 1–3 years HR experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years HR experience or equivalent educational background.

Responsibilities

• Serves clients remotely and in-person, providing consultative guidance to resolve HR issues.
• Advises on Performance Management, Recruiting and Retention, Compensation, Engagement, and Culture.
• May support PEO clients with EPLI insurance setup.
• May conduct open enrollment meetings for PEO clients on benefit plans.
• Communicates HR policies and provides remedies for employee relations issues.
• Provides turnover analysis and unemployment escalation support.
• Maintains awareness of HR trends and conducts training.
• Promotes high-quality customer service to clients.

Overview

Ensures overall client satisfaction with products and services. Works with a small client demographic or less complex client base to assist with HR needs. Maintains ongoing relationships with client contacts and is the primary point of contact for HR service. Collaborates with internal partners to ensure quality customer service and support.

Responsibilities

• Services clients remotely and in-person and provides consultative guidance to ensure appropriate resolution of client issues. Partner with internal departments/subject matter experts to deliver actionable responses or plans to client concerns.
• Provides consultative guidance and advice to clients in Performance Management, Recruiting and Retention Strategies, Compensation, Performance Development, Employee Engagement, and Culture Enhancement.
• May support PEO clients with the set-up of EPLI insurance with the assistance of other internal business partners.
• May conduct open enrollment meetings for PEO clients, advising on benefit plan selection and contribution strategies.
• Communicates and interprets HR policies and procedures while providing remedies for employee relations issues. Seeks appropriate guidance and support from HR Coach as applicable.
• Provides turnover analysis action planning and offers unemployment escalation assistance.
• Maintains an awareness of HR trends and conducts training based on available resources.
• Promotes high-quality customer service to clients.

• Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in HR, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Consideration may be given to a candidate with experience in lieu of a degree.
