Job summary

Columbia Bank is hiring a Teller to serve as the first point of contact for clients at our Snohomish location. You will perform teller transactions with accuracy, balance cash drawers, and support branch operations while upholding Breakthrough Client Service Standards.

Support client relationships, uncover needs, and refer basic products to partners. This role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and proactive service in a busy branch environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• 1 year of banking or customer service experience, preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with all Bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail with written numbers, words, and instructions.
• Demonstrates ability to build relationships with clients and bank associates.

Responsibilities

• Always performs teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Supports daily tasks to maintain branch integrity (ATM, night drops, etc.).
• Mitigate risk by safeguarding cash and ensuring accurate transfers.
• Interacts with clients; identifies needs and offers appropriate bank products.
• Continuously deepens knowledge of Columbia Bank offerings and stays updated.
• Discusses customer financial needs to identify opportunities and referrals.
• Supports branch referral goals with business partners.
