Job summary

First Commonwealth Bank is seeking a Teller to live our Mission of improving the financial lives of neighbors and their businesses. You will engage customers to assess needs, build relationships, and deliver on our Customer Service Promise in daily operations at the Financial Solutions Center.

As a Teller, you are eligible for quarterly sales and service incentives and will work with your Manager on Pathways progression and personal development, while solving problems for personal and business

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) or more years of relevant experience in a client-centric sales environment with a proven track record of exceeding goals, delivering quality client service and adhering to operational expectations.
• Excellent communications skills, passionate about helping others, motivated to learn, solutions-based sales skills, professionalism, resourcefulness, exceptional relationship-building skills, ability to excel in a complex and dynamic environment.
• Technologically savvy (i.e., Microsoft Office, Internet, mobile technology, bank systems).
• A valid driver’s license and ability/willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Champion Operations and Compliance – protect privacy and security of customers; process daily transactions and monitor for fraud; follow cash handling, teller differences and dual control guidelines; maintain cash limits in drawer, vault and total FSC limits; mitigate risk by adhering to policies and procedures.
• Grow Consumer Relationships – engage in productive conversations on inbound calls and at the drive thru; inform customers about products and promotions; ask for referrals and advocate Refer-A-Friend program; uncover additional needs based sales opportunities.
• Deepen Consumer Relationships – conduct service-related outbound calls and achieve call goals; identify partner referrals; obtain unsecured lending certification to uncover lending opportunities.
• Personal Development – take ownership of development; progress toward Pathways; learn BUILD and BUILD 2.0; become a subject matter expert on digital products; stay informed with Need2Know and First2Know; complete trainings on time.
• Customer Experience – live our Mission and Core Values; champion Customer Service Promise; increase sales effectiveness through BUILD; ensure issue resolution; be the single contact for problems; adhere to the 'One to say YES, two to say NO' rule; maintain high conduct and account integrity.
