STAR Financial Bank is seeking a Personal Banker to deliver exceptional customer service, open new accounts, and guide clients to STAR’s banking solutions. The role emphasizes building relationships and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge across deposit, loan, and service offerings.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for an Associate's in Business Administration.

Responsibilities

• Interviews customers and opens new accounts.
• Provides superior customer service including opening new accounts and resolving client inquiries.
• Communicates with customers and potential customers to gather information for evaluation and recommendation of STAR’s banking solutions.
• Completes all account maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Evaluates and responds to client issues with proper referrals as needed.
• Initiates new accounts such as savings, IRAs, CDs, and other products for personal and business clients.
• Provides information on deposit accounts, rates, fees, and services.
• Keeps knowledge up-to-date on Bank products and procedures.
• Generates new business to help meet profitability goals.
• Generates, completes, and closes consumer loans.
• Acts as lead internal contact for walk-in sales inquiries.
• Follows all operational policies and procedures.
• Identifies and refers business opportunities to bank affiliates.
• May back up Personal Banker I or Branch Manager duties.
