Job summary

STAR Financial Bank in Indiana is seeking a Personal Banker to deliver outstanding in-person service, open new accounts, and recommend STAR banking solutions to meet client needs.

You will interview customers, resolve inquiries, process deposits and loans, and maintain knowledge of products and policies while contributing to profitability. This on-site role requires 38.5 hours weekly, with a rotating Saturday shift; assignments may occur in Marion, Fishers, and Fort Wayne with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associates preferred.
• Proven ability to identify solutions and upsell banking products.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and conducts interviews with customers.
• Provides superior customer service including opening new accounts and resolving inquiries.
• Delivers information on deposit accounts, rates, and services; maintains knowledge of products.
• Generates new business to meet profitability goals; handles consumer loans as needed.
• Serves as lead internal contact for walk-in client sales inquiries.
