Equity Bank is hiring a Personal Banker in Great Bend, KS, within Retail Banking. The role focuses on building client relationships, selling accounts, loans, and services while delivering a superior client experience.

You will promote bank products, follow procedures, and participate in training, including the SAFE Act requirements. This full-time/hourly position requires travel during the first week for training and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency in Windows-based systems.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Capable of working with a team to determine solutions.
• Ability to travel to Wichita, KS during first week of employment for training.

Responsibilities

• Build client relationships through professional conversations that build trust.
• Identify key life events to tailor bank products and services.
• Recommend accounts, loans, and services to meet financial needs.
• Promote bank products within and outside the bank.
• Refer clients to bank partners to generate additional revenue.
• Maintain operational soundness to minimize risk and ensure quality production.
• Follow procedures and protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming environment.
• Resolve client issues proactively and respond to inquiries.
• Perform teller duties and process transactions as needed.
• Approve transactions within your authority.
• Assist with bank openings and closings as directed.
• Comply with laws and regulations including BSA/AML and information security.
