Heart of LA Federal Credit Union in Alexandria, LA is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to responsibly handle loan applications from start to finish, ensuring compliance and member satisfaction.

You will interview members, collect documentation for Purchase, Refinance, and construction loans, review credit reports, and coordinate closings with realtors and title partners while maintaining timely communication and strict adherence to RESPA, HMDA, and related regulations.

Qualifikationen

• At least five years of mortgage lending experience.
• Must be registered with NMLS.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration and/or finance; MLO preferred.
• Experience with Encompass and MeridianLink Mortgage LOS preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and confidential communication.

• Interview applicants and process preliminary mortgage loan documentation.
• Review loan applications and credit reports to assess repayment.
• Coordinate closing with agents, Realtors and members.
• Manage loans in pipeline from application to closing.
• Ensure compliance with lending guidelines and disclosures.
