Job summary

Mary Ann Surber Agency is seeking an Account Representative to support daily operations and customer success in the Gladstone area. You will grow the agency through meaningful customer relations and act as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments.

You will proactively market relevant products and services to improve customers’ lives. The role emphasizes outreach, relationship building, and responsive service, with a compensation range that reflects experience and performance.

Qualifications

Experience in sales preferred.
Experience in managing customer relationships preferred.
Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
Communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
Dedicated to customer service.
Able to anticipate customer needs.
Able to effectively relate to customers.
Property & Casualty license.

Responsibilities

Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market products and services to help meet those needs.
Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding product availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
Promote successful and long-lasting customer relations.
