Job summary

Oregon Pacific Bank in Florence, OR is seeking a Relationship Banking Specialist I to provide client services by selling and cross-selling bank services, opening accounts, and handling deposits with accuracy and courtesy.

You will serve as the initial contact for consumer lending functions, support the branch in daily operations, balance cash, process wires, and maintain current knowledge of deposit and non-deposit services to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• 1 year of new accounts or equivalent client service and cash handling experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to follow bank policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide client services by selling and cross-selling bank services and opening accounts.
• Receive deposits, verify cash and endorsements, and balance cash within teller guidelines.
• Assist with debit cards, merchant services, and researching transactions in core system.
• Refer to lending, merchant services, wealth management and other departments as appropriate.
• Maintain knowledge of deposit and non-deposit services to meet client needs and solve problems.
