Job summary

Crown Residential Services is seeking an experienced Re-Roof Superintendent to join our Custom Homes Division in Fort Myers, FL. This role focuses on high-end residential re-roof projects and direct homeowner interaction to ensure exceptional service and quality.

You will oversee projects from start to finish, coordinate crews, manage schedules, and maintain safety and standards while delivering a superior customer experience to homeowners in occupied properties within the Fort Myers area.

Qualifications

• Residential roofing experience required.
• Previous roofing superintendent, field supervisor, or similar role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential re-roofing practices and systems.
• Experience with shingle, tile, metal, and other residential roofing systems.
• Understanding of installation, tear-off, dry-in, flashing, and waterproofing concepts.
• Ability to identify workmanship and quality-control issues.
• Experience coordinating roofing crews and subcontractors.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel throughout Fort Myers and surrounding service area.
• Basic computer, smartphone, email, and mobile app skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee residential re-roof projects from pre-construction through final completion.
• Coordinate roofing crews, subcontractors, materials, deliveries, inspections, and project schedules.
• Communicate regularly and professionally with homeowners regarding schedules, progress, expectations, and concerns.
• Provide customers with updates throughout the roofing process and respond promptly to questions.
• Conduct pre-job site reviews and verify project scope, materials, access, and jobsite requirements.
• Ensure roofing installations meet company quality standards, manufacturer specifications, and building codes.
• Inspect projects throughout installation and identify quality concerns before they become customer issues.
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites, especially on occupied homes.
• Protect customer property and surrounding areas during construction.
• Coordinate and monitor crews to keep projects on schedule.
• Verify materials and quantities and communicate shortages or changes promptly.
• Monitor progress and communicate issues affecting scheduling, cost, or satisfaction.
• Coordinate inspections and address corrections when necessary.
• Perform final walkthroughs and complete punch-lists promptly.
• Document project progress with photos and reports.
• Enforce company safety requirements and OSHA standards.
• Work with Sales, Production, Scheduling, Purchasing, and other departments for smooth execution.
• Assist with resolving homeowner concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
