Carson Wealth in Baton Rouge, LA seeks an experienced operations assistant to support client account opening and ongoing maintenance, coordinate with custodians, and improve processes. You will serve as a primary contact for advisors and relationships managers, ensuring accuracy and timely service.

Ideal candidates have a business-related degree or equivalent experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
• Minimum of three years in financial services preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with Orion and Salesforce preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, service mindset.
• Ability to guide less experienced team members.

Responsibilities

• Account Opening & Maintenance: Process new account apps and maintenance requests; review documentation for accuracy.
• Service & Coordination: Primary contact for custodians; coordinate with advisors and client service partners to address needs.
• Procedures & Process Improvement: Develop and maintain written procedures; improve workflows and service delivery.
• Team Support & Development: Assist less experienced team members with questions; participate in training.
• Compliance & Quality: Follow policies and protect confidential information; maintain records.
• Other Duties: Perform tasks as needed by leadership to support objectives.
