Job summary

Audubon seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex engineering projects in Houston, TX. You will direct project teams, manage scope, schedule and budget, and be the primary client contact.

The role requires a strong background in engineering projects, scheduling, cost control, and credentials such as PMP/PE; you will drive change management, safety and quality while delivering company goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree with 10 years of relative experience, or Bachelor's with 7 years.
• Education/Licensure Preferred: BS Engineering, MBA, PMP, PE License.
• Experience Required: 7+ years as Project Engineer/Manager.
• Experience Preferred: 10 years as Lead Engineer on large multi-discipline projects.
• Working knowledge of scheduling techniques and software.
• Knowledgeable in cost estimating and control.
• Understanding of all discipline deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary interface between the project team and the client representative.
• Creates, executes and revises project execution plans as required.
• Identifies resources needed and manages team responsibilities.
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of projects.
• Ensures that all deliverables are reviewed and signed off prior to client issue.
• Ensures project team follows Audubon standards and procedures.
• Reviews project transactions and reports discrepancies weekly.
• Reviews invoices within a 48hr turnaround.
• Maintains resource planning on assigned projects.
• Manages project budget and schedule.
• Remains accessible to clients and acts as single point of contact.
• Organizes and directs a Project Management Team.
• Drives Management of Change and corresponding procedures.
• Champions safety and quality on the project.
• Reviews and approves subcontractor contracts and invoices.
• Manages overall project execution.
• Understands multi-discipline deliverables including procurement and construction.
• Shares lessons learned with team members and peers.
• Leads internal teams and task forces.
• Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, efficiency, and utilization.
