Job summary

Allison-Smith Company seeks a Project Manager in West Atlanta, GA to coordinate across clients, subcontractors, vendors, and site GCs. You will resolve issues flagged by receiving and site teams, represent the firm in meetings, and keep external parties aligned with project goals.

This role emphasizes coordination-and-execution with no surprises and a focus on maintaining client relationships. Regular travel to client, vendor, and project sites is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in project coordination or client-facing roles in construction.
• Experience managing multiple external parties (clients, vendors, subcontractors, GCs).
• Proficiency with MS Project or Smartsheet and standard office tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for client-facing meetings.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work cross-functionally across client, vendor, and internal teams.
• Drug and background screening clearance prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license.
• 8 hours per day work availability.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary day-to-day client contact on assigned projects; manage expectations and surface concerns early.
• Coordinate daily with subcontractors on scheduling, scope clarity, and performance follow-up.
• Coordinate with client vendors to align delivery, installation, and service timelines with project schedule.
• Maintain relationships with client site GCs to keep site logistics aligned with project needs.
• Route QA/QC issues to responsible party and track resolution through to completion.
• Attend relevant project meetings representing Allison-Smith's interests with clients/vendors/GCs.
• Prepare agendas, document meeting minutes and action items, and distribute follow-ups.
• Track commitments across parties through to closure.
• Maintain project schedules, task lists, and status reports across initiatives.
• Prepare/maintain project plans, RFIs, change orders, and closeout docs.
• Coordinate with Procurement on material orders and delivery timelines (no ordering authority).
• Provide day-to-day task direction to project staff and subcontractors.
• Generate status updates and dashboards for leadership using PM/ERP tools.
• Develop and manage change orders and approvals.
• Support estimating and proposal development for project opportunities.
