Job summary

Danaher is seeking a Program Manager for Precision Medicine and Biopharma Solutions (BioPharma) to drive high-priority projects and collaborate with BioPharma and Dx OpCo partners. You will help deliver programs on time, within scope, and budget, advancing precision therapies at scale.

The role reports to the VP of Marketing and Operations, with a possible hub in Boston, MA, DC, or Chicago, and offers a flexible remote work arrangement for eligible candidates in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering field with preference for 3+ years of program management experience, or an advanced degree (PhD or MD) in a biological science with preference for 9+ years of experience.
• Experience across the full new product development lifecycle from concept through commercial execution, including generation of integrated evidence to support sales.
• Proven track record delivering programs in a fast-paced, matrixed corporate environment while managing multiple competing priorities and stakeholders.
• Ability to synthesize complex information with strong attention to detail and apply both strategic and tactical thinking as needed.

Responsibilities

• Leadership of high-priority, external-facing projects and cross-functional teams in the BioPharma group, ensuring those projects are delivered on time, in scope, and within budget.
• Work independently with the BioPharma team and their Diagnostic OpCo partners to ensure specific programs in their Book of Work (BoW), partnering with the DX DBSL for guidance on complex situations.
• Drive execution of projects using Danaher Business System (DBS) tools such as VPM, VSM, Daily Management, and Action Plans, as well as fundamental tools like AI (Copilot, etc.), Smartsheet, Miro, and Microsoft suite.
• Displays a mindset and language of continuous improvement and recommends changes using objective analysis (PSP, Kaizen). Actively assess current processes for improvement opportunities; propose and implement improvements to standard work based on experience.
