Job summary

Cpointcc is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to design and maintain client networking environments, implement system configurations, and deliver customer-focused support. You will manage PCs, servers, routers, and security tools while collaborating with clients to ensure optimal network performance.

The role requires hands-on installation, strong communication, and a willingness to learn new technologies. Travel to client sites may be required as part of delivering services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role providing network engineering and administrative support to clients on a consulting basis.
• Understanding of IPv4 based networks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn innovative technologies.
• Ability to drive to client sites on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain client networking environments by configuring systems and documenting standards.
• Perform hands-on PC and network installation and updates for clients.
• Configure and maintain PCs, printers, routers, firewalls, switches, and related hardware/software.
• Present technical information clearly to management.
• Provide customer-first support and troubleshooting.
• Follow configuration and change management policies for network changes.
• Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures.
