Job summary

Medisolv is seeking an experienced Forward Deployed BI Engineer to join our team. You will embed with health plan and health system clients, translating needs into dashboards, reports, and analytics views on top of our clinical quality and payer data.

This client-facing role requires strong SQL skills, healthcare domain knowledge, and the ability to drive requirements into concrete deliverables while collaborating with product and data teams to improve the platform.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of BI engineering experience in a healthcare context.
• Strong client-facing skills with external stakeholders.
• Proficient in SQL and query optimization for large datasets.
• Experience with healthcare data types and reporting requirements.
• Familiarity with AI tooling to accelerate delivery.

Responsibilities

• Embed with clients to gather, challenge, and refine reporting requirements.
• Build dashboards, reports, and analytics views on health plan and clinical data.
• Work with BI tooling as required by the engagement and client needs.
• Write and optimize SQL queries behind deliverables.
• Partner with data modeling, data acquisition, and product teams to ensure data accuracy.
• Translate recurring client requests into repeatable reporting features.
• Present work to client stakeholders and manage feedback through sign-off.
• Utilize AI tooling to improve productivity and delivery speed.
