Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer - AI to work with clients across industries to transform complex challenges into production-ready AI solutions. You will combine software engineering, data science, GenAI, and MLOps to deliver measurable business value.

You’ll prototype, deploy, and scale GenAI and agentic AI applications using LangGraph, CrewAI, and leading cloud AI platforms, while ensuring guardrails, security, and reliability in production environments.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years delivering production AI solutions.
• Strong Python and SQL with GenAI and agentic AI experience.
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, and multi-step workflows.
• Experience with cloud AI platforms and APIs.
• Excellent client-facing communication.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Data Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to identify AI opportunities and success metrics.
• Build and deploy GenAI, RAG, and agentic AI solutions end-to-end.
• Design LLM-powered agents, tool use, orchestration, and evaluation.
• Prepare data and integrate AI with enterprise systems and APIs.
• Apply MLOps/LLMOps, testing, monitoring, and governance.
• Translate business challenges into technical solutions for clients.
