Job summary

BW Design Group in Chicago is looking for a DevOps Technical Delivery Manager to own delivery accountability for DevOps and platform engineering across client engagements within the Information Solutions team.

You will translate client needs into sequenced work, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and serve as the primary client-facing delivery lead. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of delivery ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in technical delivery, platform engineering, DevOps, or engineering project leadership.
• Minimum of 3 years owning delivery accountability for a technical team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client-facing accountability for DevOps and platform delivery across engagements.
• Lead client conversations on scope, sequencing, and delivery expectations.
• Translate client requirements into sequenced DevOps delivery plans.
• Set and manage delivery expectations; communicate changes before escalations.
• Run delivery status reviews and go-live coordination with stakeholders.
• Own intake, triage, and prioritization of the DevOps backlog and capacity.
