Job summary

The Construction Project Manager will oversee construction and development efforts for lenders, investors, and ownership groups across the region, with travel to project sites and strong emphasis on risk and budget evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience.
• Experience performing construction monitoring inspections.
• Experience managing commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, healthcare, or institutional construction projects.
• Strong written communication and ability to prepare executive reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-construction due diligence reviews for debt and equity stakeholders; evaluate budgets, schedules, contracts, entitlements, permitting, and development risks.
• Assess project feasibility and identify construction, financial, operational, and schedule risks.
• Review project documentation including construction agreements, consultant contracts, plans, specs, and procurement strategies.
• Evaluate contractor qualifications, project delivery approaches, and team structures.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and milestones.
• Analyze schedules, budget status, contingency use, change orders, and cash flow.
• Review monthly draw requests and documentation for progress and costs.
• Track project risks and develop mitigation recommendations.
• Provide independent assessments of status, forecast dates, and budget performance.
• Prepare due diligence and monitoring reports and executive summaries.
