Qualifications

Prior professional software engineering experience.
Python experience with modern codebases.
Experience with LLM APIs including function calling and structured outputs.
Comfort with SQL for data exploration and building data-grounded AI workflows.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools.
BS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field; or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Build AI-powered agents and tools end-to-end: identify client problems, prototype quickly, iterate, ship to production.
Design and implement LLM integrations with prompt engineering, function calling, and structured outputs.
Define evaluation criteria and build test harnesses for AI systems where correctness is ambiguous.
Collaborate with clients to understand workflows and validate AI behavior in production.
Partner with core engineering to generalize client work into product features.
Contribute to shared AI infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
Monitor production AI systems focusing on reliability, cost, and performance.
