Job summary

AZX is seeking a Solutions Engagement Manager to bridge client delivery and engineering. This role embeds with clients, understanding problems deeply and partnering with our engineering team to build value-driven technical solutions.

Expect 2–3 days on-site with clients in the Seattle area, with relocation notes welcomed on resume if not based in Seattle. Core qualifications include 4+ years in tech program/product management, hands-on AI/ML experience, and strong collaboration with engineers.

Qualifications

4+ years of project, program, and/or product management experience leading technology initiatives with mid- to large-size customers.
Hands-on experience working with or deploying AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics solutions.
Strong technical literacy to engage with engineers on architecture, APIs, data pipelines, and ML deployment.
Proven track record delivering custom-built software and data solutions, not just SaaS.
Domain expertise in energy, utilities, real estate, logistics, climate, or infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Partner with clients to understand outcomes and translate into actionable direction for engineering.
Act as technical product manager for accounts: define build scope, importance, and success metrics.
Push back on unclear or low-value requests and dig into the why behind client asks.
Hold development team accountable while partnering with engineering, not as an Engineering Manager.
Lead planning, coordination, budget tracking, forecasting, and ensure deliverables stay on track.
Align projects with client and company goals and refine processes and tooling by feedback.
Improve project management processes and automation across operations.
