Deloitte France seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with strategic financial services clients, turning data into production-grade products and practical solutions. You’ll work across data architectures, design reviews, and hands-on workshops to accelerate value.

In this client-facing role, you’ll lead technical conversations with senior engineers and executives, coordinate time zones, and contribute to product direction by surfacing insights and requirements from real deployments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS or equivalent.
6+ years of software engineering experience with client-facing roles in Investment Management.
Willingness to travel 20-25% on average.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical contact for strategic client accounts and build deep relationships with architects and engineers.
Lead discovery sessions to understand client architectures, pain points, and business objectives.
Translate complex concepts into clear narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with client teams to configure and publish data products.
Define data product structure including schema, ownership, SLAs, quality, and governance.
Produce high-quality technical documentation and runbooks.
Accelerate client time-to-value by enabling teams to build confidently.
