Job summary

SZNS Solutions in Reston, VA seeks a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to embed with enterprise and government partners, delivering working software that solves complex bottlenecks. You’ll act as builder, translator, and change agent, not a traditional consultant, and work across product engineering, sales engineering, and technical consulting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong cloud experience with at least one major cloud provider.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, Go, Rust, or Java for production code.
• Experience shipping production-quality code in fast-paced environments.
• Experience deploying agentic workflows and agent orchestration.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools (Gemini, Claude, Codex).
• Excellent communication to bridge engineering and business leadership.
• Experience with containerized environments (Kubernetes/GKE).
• US Citizen and able to obtain needed clearances.

Responsibilities

• Embed with customer teams to design, build, and deploy new workflows from concept to live impact.
• Design evaluation loops to verify AI performance and safety with guardrails.
• Serve as principal technical interface to client leadership to accelerate deals.
• Lead client workshops, trainings, and hackathons to enable success.
• Translate field insights into reusable patterns and playbooks for SZNS platform.
